Since October 2004, The Thornhill Woods Haunted House has been providing the community with a good old fashioned cemetery theme outdoor yard haunt. We have created a very detailed cemetery with elaborate tombstones, zombies, animatronics, live actors, along with creepy ambient background music and things that go bump in the night.We are aimed at making the neighborhood a more fun filled experience during the Halloween Season. Our yard haunt is free of charge, but we ask for donations to Sick Kids Foundation.
Our 2011 Halloween attendance hit an all-time high of over 3,000 people who dared to walk or run screaming through our “Haunted Mausoleum".
The good news is that our donations were up from last year and we raised just over $6,000 for Sick Kids Foundation…Our biggest year yet!
A big thank you goes out to our generous sponsor; Old Dutch Potato Chips and all our visitors who dropped by and donated to Sick Kids Foundation.
For the 2012 Halloween Season, we will not be running our walk through Mausoleum, but you will still be able to experience our bone chilling cemetery yard display.
We are digging up new ideas for the 2013 Halloween Season...So stay tuned!
